Open Source Capital, LLC, a specialty real estate finance company, has launched the first of a series of private placements that are now permitted to be advertized under the JOBS ACT. The company is using crowdfunding to finance the acquisition of a vacant waterfront commercial property located in one of South Florida’s most premier locations.

Open Source Capital is also introducing its newest investment product, which the company calls “dequity.” Dequity provides attributes of both fixed-income and equity.
