SVN Auction Services Announces Sealed Bid Auction of a Louisville College Campus
Louisville, Ky. (PRWEB) August 12, 2014 -- An 8.07-acre piece of real estate that is currently used as a local college campus is up for sealed bid auction by SVN Auction Services and auctioneer Bill Menish. Sealed bids are due by August 25th at 3 p.m.
The property, located at 4112 Fern Valley Road in Louisville, KY, includes a 32,334-squarefoot facility that was built in 2002. It first served as a childcare center for Ford United Auto Workers employees’ children, and then was purchased by a Daymar College in 2007 and became the school’s Fern Valley campus.
“This is an amazingly clean, new-looking building,” said auctioneer Bill Menish of SVN Auction Services. “No expense was spared when Ford built it in 2002, and Daymar has done an exceptional job keeping it maintained. It will be a great buying opportunity.”
The single-story building has a beautiful entry and a large main room with a fireplace, according to Menish. Additionally, there are classrooms, an office and a boardroom. The property is 8.07 acres and includes 270 parking spaces.
Menish and SVN Auction Services were hired by Daymar College to conduct the sealed bid auction and deliver a buyer in a time-defined manner rather than sell through private treaty in a traditional listing. The Fern Valley Campus will be the second campus auctioned off by Menish in eight months; the first sold in February.
