Cinema Scene adds Wehrenberg Theatres to the Expanding Portfolio of Digital Menu Board Clients

Cinema Scene Marketing announced today Wehrenberg Theatres will be installing and employing digital signage software and managed services on each theatre’s upcoming conversion to digital menu boards.

Wehrenberg Theatres, one of the oldest and largest family-owned theatre chains in America, operates 16 movie theaters in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota. Cinema Scene will be providing end to end managed services for every conversion.

These installations gain the benefit of the latest dynamic functionality from Cinema Scene.

Dynamic assets allow clients to design and deploy a piece of creative once, yet customize how it displays. No longer are graphics embedded into a single file only to be sent back to creative when a price or graphic changes. Users of the Dynamic Media Manager (DMM) now have the power to control how each variable is displayed on a screen allowing users to change things themselves, resulting in faster turnaround times and a more cost-effective and scalable content strategy.

Dynamic content features:

  • Menu items (name, description, price, nutrition)
  • Dynamic text (employee of the month, soup of the day, etc.)
  • Dynamic Line Item Menus (items appear and disappear based on location settings)
  • Savings (smart content calculates the difference between original price and current price and displays it on screen at runtime)

New functionality is allowing greater controls for managers at a location level. New software features allow location managers to control promotional offers and pricing based on inventory levels at their individual location. Defined at the corporate level, these localized controls can empower location managers to manage their individual location based on display promotional items and campaigns based on their local inventory.
