MUFG Union Bank Announces New Team for Commercial Banking Office in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) August 19, 2014 -- MUFG Union Bank, N.A., today announced its new management team to lead commercial banking activities in the Southeast from its base in Atlanta. The office will be led by Managing Director Michael Harvey, a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of financial services experience. Harvey and his team oversee corporate banking services focusing primarily on the middle market sector.
Joining Harvey is Director and Senior Relationship Manager Jonathan Ginn, Relationship Manager Christopher Becker, and Credit Analyst Kelsey Hatcher. Together the team brings nearly 45 years of financial experience to the commercial banking industry.

Prior to joining MUFG Union Bank, Harvey served as a senior vice president for JP Morgan Chase. He also served as senior vice president of commercial banking for Regions Financial Corporation and as vice president of corporate banking for Mizuho Corporate Bank. He started his career - in the US Corporate group at Wachovia Bank in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Harvey received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wofford College and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Ginn has more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry and a strong knowledge of the Southeast region. He previously served as a vice president and middle market relationship manager at Fifth Third Bank. Prior to that, he was a vice president and commercial relationship manager at Sun Trust Bank and a vice president and business relationship manager at Washington Mutual. Ginn started his career with Wells Fargo. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University.
Becker previously served as a risk management underwriter in the Capital Markets group for Regions Financial Corporation. He was also a global commercial banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering Middle Market clients in the Southeast. Becker earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Furman University.
Hatcher began his banking career in the Emerging Markets Research Group with BBVA in Madrid, Spain. He was also an analyst for Renova Partners, a boutique investment banking firm in Atlanta. Hatcher earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia.
