About the Author
Chris Stern is a Swiss-American dual national. He began his professional career at a small textile company and while working full-time went on to obtain various degrees in business administration. He later worked for two international consulting firms where he helped major clients to significantly improve productivity and strategic planning. In 1996 he founded IFEM, a small international boutique consulting firm guiding mid-size companies towards sustainable strategic market positions. At that time he started to teach business management seminars for a leading provider of continuous education in Europe. Through his consulting work, he has served in chief executive positions, and has held a number of board directorships. While continuing his work in the growing consulting and teaching businesses, Stern also pursues various entrepreneurial endeavors in aviation and consumer services. As a writer Stern has published “Total Customer Focus” (Xlibris, 2004), and numerous articles. Today he is a regular keynote speaker at corporate and public events.
