Attorney Carolyn J. Johnsen Joins Dickinson Wright's Phoenix Office as a Member
PHOENIX, Ariz. (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Carolyn J. Johnsen has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as a Member.
Ms. Johnsen has over 27 years of experience representing both debtors and creditors in commercial bankruptcies and corporate restructurings. She has advised companies and individuals in a wide-range of industries, including mortgage lending, real estate, manufacturing, retail, refining, hospitality, aviation and energy-related. She has assisted private and public corporations in formulating and implementing managerial, personnel and operational structures. She has also guided numerous boards and senior managers in developing strategies and solutions for revising operations and restructuring debt to effectuate the emergence of a stronger business through bankruptcy, or to take advantage of acquisition and sale opportunities.
Ms. Johnsen is recognized as a leader in her field by Best Lawyers in America and Southwest Super Lawyers and she has spoken and written extensively on bankruptcy topics. She is a founding master of the Arizona Bankruptcy Inn of Court and the founder of Arizona’s credit abuse education program for high school students. She currently serves on the National Board for the Smithsonian Libraries and on the Advisory Board of Direct Women which assists women in obtaining corporate board positions. Ms. Johnsen received her B.S. in Wildlife Science from Texas A&M University, her M.A. in Military History from Norwich University, and her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
