PHOENIX, Ariz. (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Dickinson Wright/Mariscal Weeks is pleased to announce that Attorney Lisa D. Duran has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as a Member.
Ms. Duran practices exclusively in the area of Immigration law. She represents clients in sponsoring foreign national professionals for employment-based visas. She assists foreign investors in obtaining E-2 non-immigrant and EB-5 immigrant visas (green cards). She also represents individuals in connection with family-based petitions and applications and their naturalization applications and related litigation. Ms. Duran advises employers in connection with I-9 compliance and E-Verify and represents them in connection with I-9 inspections and other work site enforcement actions by the Department of Homeland Security.
Ms. Duran is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is a recognized leader in her field by Best Lawyers in America, Southwest Super Lawyers, Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Duran serves on the UMOM New Day Center’s Board of Directors and is an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She received her B.A. and M.A. from the University of Illinois and her J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law.
