The challenge was set; a $1.00 donation for each mile logged would be donated to the non-profit organization Wine to Water, to provide clean drinking water to communities throughout the world. Each $1.00 donation will provide clean drinking water for one year, for one person, who otherwise would not have access to it.
Filtersfast.com, Wine to Water and TrekDesk formed a partnership called The W3 Project in 2012; with the mission being to raise money to help end the global water crisis.
