Emily Doherty Presents Humorous Account of Things Pregnant Mothers Encounter
Richmond, Va. (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- “The majority of pregnancy books available to parents tend to be lengthy and of a serious note. This is the opposite,” author Emily Doherty says of her new book. Not to discourage fellow expecting moms of reading pregnancy books, Doherty rather presents a funny and light approach on the matter. Through her book “Funny Little Pregnant Things,” she shares realistic tips and the “the good stuff” expecting mothers need to know — all delivered in humorous manner.
In the introduction of her book, Doherty lets readers know that although she is not a doctor or a professional in the pregnancy and birthing field, she is a mother of two with real life experience. Doherty spares women from the heavy medical terms and dull narratives of how-to’s, do’s and dont’s during pregnancy; presenting a humorous account of the things, real and ridiculous ones, that she experienced when she was also carrying a baby inside her tummy.
Delivered in an easy-to-read and humorous manner, Doherty tickles and informs pregnant women of some realistic tips of the things that moms need to prepare for during the nine months of carrying another life inside them; not forgetting some ridiculous yet factual happenings to look out for, trivia and good–to–knows that will surely prepare moms for the best and the worst they can expect during those nine-months and beyond.
