For 2014, the prestigious Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will now be held at the Miami Airport Convention Center, Nov. 7-9. Just 13 miles from Miami Beach, the event will showcase internationally recognized dealers and a fantastic variety of antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watches.

Renamed to the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, the show will cater to an array of antique jewelry enthusiasts in Miami, Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale and beyond. In addition, the new venue will accommodate a larger number of shoppers looking to get a head start on holiday gift buying. The Miami Airport Convention Center currently hosts 172,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space.

“The Miami Airport Convention Center’s proximity to major highways in south Florida allows buyers from nearby counties easy access to the show. Plus, the new space will provide attendees a greater variety of merchandise to find special and unique gifts for the upcoming holiday season,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager.

The Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show gathers more than 100 well-established dealers presenting their stunning pieces to south Florida collectors, celebrities and socialites. On the show floor, jewelry and watch collections from the Renaissance to Retro eras are represented as well as signed pieces from global brands like Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., Harry Winston, and more.

This year, the show will also be hosting the South Florida GIA Alumni Association and AGS Guild of South Florida’s educational session titled, “The 10 Jewelry Trends That You Need to Know Now & Why.” Speaker Jennifer Heebner, senior editor of JCK Magazine, will highlight the hottest looks now in new jewelry styles as well as trends happening at the intersection of the runway fashions and jewelry.

The session will be held Friday, Nov. 7 and is open to all GIA alumni as well as members of the AGS Guild. Networking will begin at 7 p.m. with the session starting at 7:30 p.m. Light food and refreshments will be available.

Show times for the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show are Friday, Nov. 7 to Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is $20 for all three days.
