New Book ‘The Doggie’s Bible’ Depicts Life Through the Eyes of Adorable Canine
Lindenwold, NJ (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- The old adage says that dogs are man’s best friend, and for ages, the domesticated canines have proven themselves remarkably useful, with their acute senses used for hunting, sniffing out drugs and even detecting cancer. In his picture book, titled “The Doggie’s Bible,” author Sir Grinsalot shows readers just how clever and keen these creatures are by telling the story of a little dog’s fun adventures as she relies on her senses to identify common objects found in her surroundings.
This fun-filled and educational children’s book will allow young minds to appreciate their four-legged friends and how they interact with the world around them using their unique abilities. This book depicts how dogs smell, and how this sense is central in their perception of the environment around them. With this story, young readers will be able to see a different side of their own pets, and the whimsical tone of the adorable puppy’s tale will show kids important life lessons, while giving parents a harmless escape from everyday pressures, disappointments and hurts, plus an opportunity to bond with their little ones.
The author also seeks to convey a spiritual lesson with his tale through the innocence of man’s best friend. Says Sir Grinsalot: “We can learn a valuable lesson from our pets. In their simplicity our pets easily recognize the source and ingredients of healing, that humans often fail to find until it is too late.”
The vibrantly illustrated pages of this work of children’s literature show how dogs can send a vital message to humanity, making it perfect not only for dog lovers, but for readers who are spiritually inquisitive.

About the Author
Sir Grinsalot was born on Long Island, New York. As a child, he grew up being bullied by the older and much bigger boys in his neighborhood, who never seemed to grow weary from targeting this younger, very over-weight, bucktoothed and extremely nearsighted boy. Even the girls in school made fun of him. There was never a shortage of harsh nicknames. Nonetheless, he had better things in mind from which the harsh realities of being bullied would later serve for motivation leading to athletic scholarships, serving aboard oceangoing steamships to foreign lands, and finally molding a heart of compassion to serve the local community. It is from this background that his story has surfaced. He hopes that it will help the healing process in the lives of others regardless of the source of their hurts and disappointments.
