Warrington, PA (PRWEB) March 17, 2014
Sunesys, LLC, announced today a lit services product expansion and new state-of-the-art data center transport network, “SunTran.” In addition to Sunesys’ premier dark fiber and K-12 lit services offerings, we are now providing Ethernet and private wavelength networks in each of our regional markets to the healthcare, carrier, and enterprise business sectors and IP services to the aforementioned verticals and the education market.
Sunesys expands its product offerings to include switched Ethernet (SunE) and private managed Ethernet networks (SunEP) scalable from 100Mbps to 100Gbps and dedicated private wavelength solutions (SunWave), from 1Gig to 100Gig plus. In addition, our product suite now includes dedicated Internet access (SunIP) available in 100Mbps and 1Gbps increments, up to 10Gbps. Internet services will begin as a rollout in our Chicago, New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets and offer DNS hosting, IP address allocation, and BGP or static routing.
The state-of-the-art SunTran data center network provides high-speed transport to over 60 key data center locations across the United States, connecting our regional networks. Sunesys’ next generation transport network connects key metropolitan regions with best-in-class optical transport equipment. The initial phase will provide long-haul pathways between Chicago and other parts of Illinois, Delaware, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and additional areas of Pennsylvania, Ashburn in Virginia, New Jersey and New York. Future expansion of the network will include Southern California and Atlanta. For more on the transport network, please visit: http://sunesys.com/network-maps/.
“Sunesys is thrilled to be expanding our product suite and introducing our new SunTran data center network,” states Sunesys’ Senior Vice President, Alan Katz. “We continue to push the boundaries of our business providing first-class telecom solutions, like our Ethernet and private wavelength services or our dedicated enterprise class Internet, to business and enterprises that desire customized network solutions. We aim to fulfill the needs of all of our customers – whether financial, healthcare, or carrier, big or small. At the end of the day, we have provided an aspect of lit services to the K-12 industry for ten plus years now. All we are doing is expanding that to other verticals – it’s nothing new, nothing foreign to us.”
Larry Coleman, President of Sunesys, continues, “Our next generation SunTran network will pave the way for long-haul connectivity across key metro areas and beyond. At Sunesys, we desire to equip our customers with full-service solutions, that focus on vital concerns in today’s world – security, data backup and disaster recovery, bandwidth surge and more.”
Sunesys currently operates over 9,000 fiber route miles in eleven states across the country including over 5,000 miles in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
