Aussie Artists Fiona Joy and Trysette Announce Dates for Third U.S. Tour This Fall 2014
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2014 -- This November, Aussie artists Trysette and Fiona Joy return to the U.S. for a series of dates at theaters and intimate clubs, a triumphant return after the pair’s successful tours in 2012 and 2013 drew critical acclaim and garnered live media appearances on morning television in New York, Colorado and Arizona. On November 8th, they kick off their tour of Southwestern cities including Boulder, Denver, Albuquerque, Sedona, Tempe, Tucson, and Julian, CA; they'll be joined by the Finzer Mahoney Duo for the dates in New Mexico and Arizona.
With this tour, the headliners bring fresh new music to the stage. Fiona Joy has new works from Signature, which she is in the process of recording in various formats including DSD; recently, she contributed her new track “Grace” to Winds of Samsara, a collaborative album that debuted at #1 on Billboard’s New Age chart. Meanwhile, Trysette is issuing a new album of live concert favorites called Silky Fingers while she continues recording a new album of original songs with her mentor Bob Malone (singer, songwriter and keyboardist for John Fogerty).
These solo artists, both from rural NSW Australia, are classically-trained with a penchant for the grand piano…and that’s where their similarities end. They met in 2011 and quickly developed a mutual admiration for each other's piano-based music, and decided to tour together with the intention of playing only grand pianos; hence the Two Grand I'm Yours tour concept. Blending musical worlds with stories both humorous and heartbreaking, they take the audience on a journey through Pop, Folk and Contemporary Piano styles, delivering an unforgettable evening in their own unique, fresh, and enchanting way.

Outside of their shared tour dates, Fiona Joy is booked to play two solo dates on either side of the tour, one on October 26th at Sutter Creek Theatre in CA, and another on Dec. 5th at Keyboard Concepts in Agoura Hills, CA after the tour. Trysette will play a solo gig in Lubbock, TX on November 30th at Rockin’ Box on 33rd.
