In her wonderful new children’s book, “Adventures of SuperYam” (published by Xlibris AU), Alla Novochenok-Serhan encourages young readers to eat healthy through the galactic journey of SuperYam, a superhero who represents the world of fruits and vegetables. This colorful, amusing picture book takes readers on an absorbing adventure that is bound to keep the glued from first page until last!

Readers are introduced to SuperYam, a new superhero in town who is all about healthy eating. He helps a little boy named Harry with his eating habits by taking him over to outer space and into Planet Farm, a whole new world where fruits and vegetables rule and know a thing or two about having fun.

“I want children to connect with SuperYam and see him as someone they can look up to,” the author says, “I want them to think of fruits and vegetables as fun, exciting foods that they can see as positives not negatives. Children need a positive message when it comes to healthy eating as the obesity epidemic is prevalent in our society.”

Bundled with vivid, bright illustrations and a charming, rhyme-filled narrative, “Adventures of SuperYam” is a fun journey for both kids and parents that promise to entertain and educate even the fussiest of eaters!
