Authors show perils of alcohol abuse in new graphic novel
San Diego, Calif. (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- Authors Christine Snow and Donna Albury highlight the seriousness of alcohol addiction through a compelling story of four alcoholics. Born out of love and pain and the authors’ desire to reach out to others, “A Night In The Life...” (published by Xlibris) reveals the struggles with addiction and aims to help those who are suffering from the same fate.
Night life is popular among teenagers and young adults. Alcoholism is rampant in this. This book chronicles a typical night in the life of four characters from different walks of life. Their experiences are common to many people who face the perils of alcohol abuse. Readers will be able to relate to the situation the characters are in and share their emotion and the “walk of shame” as they journey down a treacherous path. This will help them understand the core of the problem and ponder the best solution leading to the road of recovery.
Written by a niece and an aunt, “A Night In The Life...” is based from the personal experiences of the authors. It is not sugar-coated; rather, it candidly depicts the struggles of alcoholics and how alcoholism affects the people whose lives they touch. Readers will learn the importance of being honest and brave enough to acknowledge the problem and to take the opportunity to start down a new path.
