Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and Pfizer, Inc Offer Pfizer ArchiTools Resource for Case Management Professionals
Little Rock, AR (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- The Case Management Society of America (CMSA), in a partnership with Pfizer, Inc, today announced the launch of Pfizer ArchiTools, a specially-designed online platform for case management and healthcare professionals to build improved care delivery across the healthcare continuum.
This unique, evolving and centralized resource enables case management and healthcare professionals to deliver value-driven healthcare. The platform’s comprehensive grouping of information and resources includes: interactive training modules, helpful downloads, annotated articles and a robust set of relevant external links to explore.
ArchiTools is designed to enable case management and healthcare professionals to stay abreast of industry trends and facilitate more patient-centered, collaborative care. Contained in the platform are three topical resource centers and two training rooms. Each resource center provides informational overviews, best practices and tools for professionals to use in their own practice. All of the materials have been made easily accessible for CMSA members online.
The three resource centers include: a Team-Based Practice Resource Center, that provides in-depth information, resources and best practices related to team-based care; a Care Transitions Resource Center, that offers tools designed to enhance coordination and continuity of care as patients transfer between locations and levels of care; and the Prevention & Wellness Resource Center, which makes available materials that can enhance patient knowledge, self-management and engagement in their care.
Additionally, Pfizer’s ArchiTools platform contains two training rooms. First, there is a Health Information Technology Training Room, which provides an overview of HIT, explains the role it plays in healthcare reform, and describes ways in which HIT can make common care delivery functions more efficient and effective. There is also a Payment Reform Training Room, which explores the driving forces behind payment reform and summarizes key payment reform mandates and initiatives.
“We are pleased to offer this platform to the case management and healthcare community to facilitate care that is more efficient, safer and more effective,” said Nancy Skinner, RN-BC, CCM, President of CMSA. “The resources ArchiTools makes available are invaluable for case management professionals in assisting positive outcomes for individual patients’ healthcare needs, delivering cost-efficient methods of care delivery, and furthering their professional knowledge and career opportunities.”
“At Pfizer, we are confident that ArchiTools provides case managers with up to date information about the changing healthcare landscape, and actionable resources that can be used to impact patients’ wellbeing and help improve overall health outcomes,” said Gene Gosselin, Director, Customer Strategy & Solutions Group, Pfizer.
