New Tube Capper/De-capper Offers High Flexibility at a Low Price

Scientists at all levels can decrease contamination when using screw-cap tubes, as well as reduce repetitive strain injuries and hand fatigue, thanks to a new capping machine by Gel Company. The Capper is the only semi-automated equipment currently on the market offering variable RPM speeds to cap and de-cap screw-cap tubes of all sizes.



This is a very affordable instrument considering the multiple capping heads and manual torque adjustment features.

With true one-handed operation, one does not have to put down a pipette to close a tube, making capping or de-capping faster. The Capper helps reduce contamination because the cap remains untouched through the entire process – dirty gloves or bare hands are no longer a source of problems. The Capper has a small, portable footprint for use on the lab bench or in the hood and has been designed for ergonomics to reduce hand fatigue and repetitive stress injuries.

The Capper offers the following features in a small benchtop footprint (16” H x 7”W x 8”D):
