NASHVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorneys John E. Anderson, Sr. and Robb Bigelow have been selected as Fellows of the Nashville Bar Foundation.
Mr. Anderson is a Member in Dickinson Wright’s Nashville office. He focuses his practice on the areas of automotive, commercial & business litigation, real estate and bank litigation, and insurance. He represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the state of Tennessee. Mr. Anderson has achieved the AV Preeminent Rating, Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible rating for both ethical standards and legal ability. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, and the Tennessee Bar Association. Mr. Anderson received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy in Boulder, Colorado.
Mr. Bigelow is a Member in the firm’s Nashville office. An experienced litigator, with a practice focusing on commercial litigation, labor & employment, and class actions, he has successfully tried cases at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal court. Mr. Bigelow is the PTO President at Glendale Spanish Immersion Elementary School, a trustee and choir member at West End United Methodist Church, a member of the Tennessee Bar of Association’s Leadership Law program, and is involved in numerous other civic and charitable organizations throughout Nashville including the Room In the Inn, HELP Project, Safe Haven, Habitat for Humanity, and the Legal Aid Society. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, cum laude, and Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was the Student Body President, he clerked for The Honorable Juliet E. Griffin, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He is currently running for Davidson County General Sessions Judge in Division 5.
The Nashville Bar Foundation Fellows Program was established in 1991 as a way for the bar to honor its colleagues who have contributed significantly to the community. Devotion to service to the client and to the public interest are hallmarks of the program. Fellows are selected by their colleagues. Each "class" of Fellows is limited to approximately 1% of the bar in Nashville.
