Frontier Airlines Lowers Fares and Simplifies its Fare Structure to Save Customers Even More Money
Denver, Colo. (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Frontier Airlines today announced it has lowered fares and simplified its fare structure by offering only two types of fare options – Economy and Classic Plus – effective for all tickets purchased on or after April 28, 2014. The lowest Economy fares have been reduced by an average of 12 percent on every nonstop route Frontier flies. Frontier has simplified its fee structure for carry-on bags, checked bags, and seat assignments. As a result, the Economy fare is now fully unbundled - enabling customers to choose and pay for only the products they want to truly customize their flight. Customers who purchased tickets prior to April 28 will see no change.
“With an unbundled product, customers can save even more by choosing to pay for only the products that they want, allowing them to customize their flight experience for each and every flight,” said David Siegel, CEO of Frontier Airlines. “With today’s further reduction in Frontier’s amazing low fares our customers will find even greater value and our guaranteed lowest fare when they book at FlyFrontier.com.”
For those customers that want flexibility with the most amenities, Frontier continues to offer the Classic Plus fare, which includes a fully refundable ticket, no change fees, extra leg room with STRETCH seating*, one free-checked bag, and one free carry-on bag.
Frontier’s Ascent and Summit tier level members of the EarlyReturns® loyalty program will continue to receive a free carry-on bag, two free checked bags, and STRETCH or SELECT seating without additional charge. With one of the lowest elite qualification rates in the U.S. airline industry, it continues to pay to be a loyal flier with Frontier.
For customers who want to save even more money, Frontier is introducing Frontier’s Discount Den, an innovative new travel savings club. Members will receive $5 savings on Frontier’s lowest carry-on and 1st checked bag prices as well as special deals via email. To enroll in Frontier’s Discount Den, customers must be EarlyReturns® members.
