Peter D. Snow was determined to write a book of conversations between Jesus of Nazareth and his disciples. His reason was so that he could speak for himself. The more the author listened to his conversations, the more he realized why his teachings are still the basis for the way everyone thinks today.
“Jesus: The God App.” (published by Xlibris) is a devotional work presenting a fascinating, clear and fully accessible account of Jesus of Nazareth's teaching and is crafted in such a way as to make readers feel they are walking right beside Jesus and participating in the conversation. The story is accurate and plausible and does not stray far from the text of the Gospels, but it is told in modern language and idiom. It presents profound questions and insightful, original interpretations of traditional material.
“Many inside and outside church congregations are looking for a pathway to faith but they cannot do violence to their common sense. This book is down-to-earth, makes sense of the human condition as we understand it, and does not sweep under the rug difficult questions raised by Christian traditions. It concentrates on the Jesus who walked 20 miles a day, ate with his disciples and shared their thoughts and laughter,” says the author.
“Jesus: The God App.” reflects the dynamic role Jesus of Nazareth and the Risen Christ play in everyone’s spiritual lives. In modern terms, Jesus of Nazareth lays out this users’ manual for a new access to the Divine, and the Risen Christ becomes the access point or pathway to God.
