New Book ‘Kadin’s Intent’ is Young Adult Novel Set in Dystopian Future
KAIKOHE, New Zealand (PRWEB) September 08, 2014 -- Author T.L.S. Robinson takes readers to a dystopian future where humanity has been divided into two kinds of people, those who care and those who do not. “Kadin's Intent” (published by Xlibris NZ) is a young adult science fiction novel showing the struggle between the human spirit and the oppressive machinations of a twisted society.
The story follows a boy who is thrown into an unfamiliar place and has to fight for his survival. Not everything around him is as it seems, for the world has become divided into two groups of people; those who care about the environment and are thoughtful, and those who only think of their own profit and are completely callous in nature.
In Robinson’s own words, his book is relevant, “because we are always in the position of making choices; some that bring good things into being, and some that bring abhorrent or dark things into being. We can easily start down a dark way with good intentions and then look around at some point realizing that we’ve gone too far. Or maybe, some of us don’t see where we are anymore or refuse to even look.”
“Kadin’s Intent” shows readers the ever-present fight for humanity, showing how individuals can muster the ability to place other people’s lives and well being ahead of their self-interests.
