Oliver Group celebrates 30 years of leadership development in 2014 with rebrand and new website

Oliver Group launches new logo and website as part of 30-year anniversary rebrand of leadership development firm, partnering with Vimarc and Via Studio.

Our job as leadership development consultants is to uncover how organizations and leaders can leverage the talents of their people to enhance performance.

After 30 years in business helping other businesses enhance their performance with talent acquisition and development solutions, Oliver Group wanted to make 2014 extra memorable. This past year the leadership consulting firm worked with partners Vimarc Group and Via Studio to rebrand with a new logo and execute on the new branding elements.

Vimarc, a marketing agency based in Louisville, consulted with Oliver Group to create a new brand vision, messaging and creative elements, including a new logo and tagline, "uncovering potential."

"We clarified the messaging and feel that we felt better represented them with the new logo, which really speaks to the transformative work Oliver Group does, and updated their colors to have a warmer, less formal feel," said Richmond Simpson, president and ceo of Vimarc. The logo shows the peeling back of a page, and it has four variations available in different combinations of orange, red and yellow.

With creative direction from Vimarc, web development firm Via Studio took on the project of updating Oliver Group's website. Via developed the site goals of increasing traffic and lead generation, and they updated the site's layout.

"Oliver Group knew they wanted a mobile-friendly site that would be easy to navigate. They took the time to work with us to really understand what was important about their message and to work through what they wanted the site to do for them as a business, and it shows," said Kim Clark, vice president of accounts at Via Studio.

The resulting new look has Oliver Group leaders pleased. "Our new look is extremely different than the last 30 years, and nearly everyone who has seen the logo understands how it represents us. Our job as leadership development consultants is to uncover how organizations and leaders can leverage the talents of their people to enhance performance," said Jennifer Mackin, president and ceo of Oliver Group.

"The new look is working well for the website--our site traffic is up and we are better serving our mobile visitors," said Jeanne Ward, marketing communications manager.
