National Association of Professional Women Announces MJ Robb, Chief, Management Services at Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, as VIP Woman of the Year,

“I manage, plan and direct the activities of the Inmate Services Division of the Sheriff’s Custody Services Bureau,” said Ms. Robb. “I develop and administer all Sheriff's detention education, industries and training and psycho-social programs for inmates.”
In her position as chief, management services at Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, Ms. Robb is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Inmate Services Division. She works closely with the Sheriff to ensure that all educational and vocational programs, including substance abuse and stress management, computer training, GED/high school diploma preparation and much more, run smoothly and efficiently.
Ms. Robb is instrumental in formulating program policy and operational services for the bureau. Additionally, she monitors and prepares the Inmate Welfare Trust Fund budget and oversees budgets, grants and s-special funds to ensure compliance with all required laws and penal codes. Ms. Robb works tirelessly representing the Office of the Sheriff at numerous community functions, task force leadership committees and community agencies throughout the year, forming and maintaining crucial partnerships that are key to the success of the Office of the Sheriff, and the well-being and development of the inmates and the community as a whole.
