A family struggles to survive the many tribulations that a world in war has wrought. As time passes by and lessons become unlearned, the family must look back again in order to find some measure of peace in an increasingly unpredictable world in Presley W. Clarke Jr.’s “I’LL NEVER CRY TOMORROW.”

This is the story of one family’s sacrifices in America during World War II and the family’s struggle to overcome the post-war effects upon their future generations. In the post-war period, when peace has been reestablished, the country has transitioned from war production to civilian production. The family ignores the lessons of the past, believing their children can build peaceful and happy lives in the present day without sacrifice. When the unforeseen day arises with the emergence of new wars, the family must endure again, even as tragedy looms over them, casting a fitful pall upon their lives. As sorrow and grief threaten to overcome any feeble happiness left, the new generation of the family must learn to look back to move forward and find peace at last.

Filled with interesting historic information regarding World War II, this book also contains insight into the mind of a child whose war-torn world causes fear and disturbance. How the family rises from the ashes of war is the centerpiece of this poignant tale, as well as their journey of overcoming adversity. Emotional and an enthralling read, this book is perfect for history enthusiasts.
