Primera Website Design Wins First Place

'They delivered a site that functions every bit as good as it looks, on any device.' - Matt Dvorak, Director of Marketing + Communications

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) August 04, 2014

Indianapolis branding firm Miles Design announced today that their website design for Primera took home first place honors in the 37th annual SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) National Marketing Communications Awards in the best website category. Awards were handed out in San Antonio, Texas, at the Awards Gala during the 2014 SMPS national conference Build Business: Power Play.

The SMPS Marketing Communications Awards program is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards competition that recognizes excellence in marketing communications by professional services firms in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) design and building industry.

Winning entries were judged relative to the project’s marketing objectives, content, measurable results and overall budget. Judges described the new responsive design of PrimeraEng.com as “clear, consistent graphics on computer, iPad, and iPhone” and “results were measurable and successful.”

“Miles Design helped us develop a site that represents what today’s Primera looks like – a bold, full-service firm that specializes in three major areas of expertise,” explains Matt Dvorak, Primera’s Director of Marketing + Communications. “A complete pleasure to partner with, they delivered a site that functions every bit as good as it looks, on any device. Just in terms of recruiting alone, we experienced a nearly 4000% increase in website applicants due to a prominent, user-friendly careers section.”

In addition to accepting the award on behalf of Primera, Josh Miles was also on-site as the co-emcee of the awards gala during the conference. Josh Miles shared, “It is an honor to accept this award on behalf of Primera and Miles Design, but as cool as it is to receive awards, seeing the results from this new website has been even more satisfying.”

Miles Design has also been recognized in previous SMPS Marketing Communication Awards for website redesign projects. Their AEC website redesign for BSA Lifestructures won third place in 2012, and RATIO Architects took home first place in the SMPS Marketing Communications Awards in 2010. Miles Design also won second place in 2013 for their book, Bold Brand.
