Vets Plus, Inc. is pleased to announce Rick Haxton has joined the companion animal business unit as National Accounts Manager of Food, Drug, and Mass. Haxton will focus on private label and branded sales in the food, drug, and mass retail segment.
As a National Sales Manager at Splintek, a position he held for nearly ten years prior to joining Vets Plus, Haxton was responsible for the SleepRight line of branded products in retail stores across the USA and Internationally. He also introduced a line of pet treats, growing accounts with pet specialty stores as well as national and international distributors. Haxton has also held sales and account management positions with American Dairy Brands and Kraft Foods, Inc.
