NAPW honors Monica Agudelo as a 2013/2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in business with this prestigious distinction. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 400 Local Chapters.
“I am very passionate about my job and love selling a technology that has had such a 'game-changing' effect on the way people run their business today,” explains Ms. Agudelo, owner of ACN. The company is based on the franchise business model and founded on the basic principle of how customers could save money and add value to the services they use every day.
Ms. Agudelo is also active in humanitarian efforts. Her most recent three-month volunteer project in Costa Rica includes caring for low-income women, mothers and children by providing them with nutritional meals and services.
“There is nothing more rewarding than giving to those in need,” says Ms. Agudelo, who plans to expand her humanitarian work by creating a charity that will raise money for educating women and children.
Ms. Agudelo’s enthusiasm is made more palpable by her personal commitment to training and inspiring others in how to become successful entrepreneurs with ANC. It is her greatest hope that her apprentices succeed as she has in building their own lucrative businesses.
