Innovative solispost Solar Powered Illuminated Bollards Go Global
(PRWEB UK) 24 November 2014 -- UK manufacturer onthecase (international) ltd is pleased to announce the global availability of solispost, their innovative solar powered light posts and signage solutions. From the beginning of December, the solispost bollard and solisposter case are available to customers in the UK and from distributors in Europe, USA, Middle East and North Africa.
Using innovative solar panels to charge an internal battery, solispost solutions provide permanent pathway lighting for up to 10 days on a single charge. Proximity sensors temporarily increase light levels as someone nears each bollard, helping them see their route clearly. The same technology is used in the solisposter case that acts as both a way marker and 24-hour information display point.
solispost solutions do not require any mains electricity connection, helping to keep deployment and running costs low. solispost units are fully configurable, providing dozens of potential applications, both on private estates or for cost-conscious local authorities seeking an alternative to traditional street lighting.
“The use of intelligent lighting control means that solispost products can last several days on a single charge,” said Jamie Wood, Managing Director of onthecase, “the vertical placement of solar cells also ensures that the unit recharges every day, even in northern climates where there is very limited sunlight during the winter months. For most applications the solispost need only be cleaned once a year, helping to keep maintenance costs as low as possible. ”
solispost bollards and solisposter cases are the first in a new range of street furniture solutions that is set to include mini street lighting in the near future.
solipost has been designed by and is being manufactured in Britain by onethecase (International) ltd, suppliers of high quality noticeboards and poster cases to architects, specifiers and end users across many sectors including education, sports and leisure, industry and the public sector.
