(PRWEB) September 08, 2014 -- FORTSON, Ga. – Author Anthony L. Walker says that when he looks at the state of the world, he is saddened to see how misguided, confused and deceived mankind is about God and the things of God. His observation pertains to everyone, including those who claim to be Christians. He offers all a chance at change and “Transformation” (published by Xlibris) with his new book, a guide to living a Christian life in full obedience with the word of God.
According to Walker, living a Christian life can be summed up in Romans 12:2 which says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The overall theme of “Transformation” is to know God, to obey, trust and praise him. By knowing him and not just knowing of him, Walker says that a better understanding of his will and plan for one’s life can be attained. By obeying him, one is positioned to reap the inheritance of his kingdom, and by trusting him, worries, fears and doubts are shed for he is the provider, protector, healer and deliverer for his true believers. By praising God, a believer establishes an opening to receive an abundance of his provisions and blessings.
“Transformation” is Bible based and takes place in the hearts and minds of its readers. It is like a self-help book, but instead it is a God-help book. It presents problems and also the solution to the problems. It is a book about a book, the Holy Bible, that instructs and educates people about the Word, God, sin, salvation and Christianity. After that, the intent is to motivate and inspire through life lessons and Walker’s personal testimony.
