Questline Senior Engineer to Deliver Keynote Address at Iowa Energy Summit & Energy Efficiency Awards
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Mike Carter, Senior Engineer at Questline, will deliver the keynote address titled “Planning to Succeed – Seven Steps to Energy Efficiency Savings” at the 2014 Iowa Energy Summit. The Summit will be held Tuesday, May 6, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to the keynote, Carter will be presenting two breakout sessions, “Variable Frequency Drives and Motors” and “What’s New in Lamps and Ballasts?”
The annual Iowa Energy Summit and Energy Efficiency Awards brings together Alliant Energy’s largest customers from all of Iowa. The Energy Efficiency Awards recognize customers who have excelled in energy savings over the past year. The Summit gives customers an opportunity to share energy-efficiency best practices and success stories while attending breakout sessions on various programs. Highlighted programs include Energy Audits, Lighting, HVAC Systems, and Commercial New Construction.
Carter will explain the importance of committing to an efficiency plan during his keynote speech.
“No one spends time planning to fail, but we don’t always plan for success, either,” Carter said. “A good, strategic energy-management plan serves as a roadmap, guiding your facility down the road to energy efficiency. I will share seven steps that have proven to make energy savings a reality.”
Carter is a Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineers. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and his Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
