Questline Adds Top Talent to Product Research and Development Team
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- Questline is excited to announce the hiring of two Senior Developers, Scott Gerold and Jeremy Harning, as well as a Technical Account Manager, Charles Severson. These employees bring expertise to Questline’s Product Research and Development Team, which is responsible for the strategic development of Questline products and technology platforms. They will work to create new products and processes, focusing on the Engage Digital Marketing Platform. Engage is a cross-channel communications and analytics platform designed specifically for the utility industry.
"In 2014, Questline's Product team is focused on advancing the Engage platform and bringing our utility clients key insights about their customers. Scott and Jeremy not only provide exceptional technical talent but deep experience in both the energy utility industry and the development of digital marketing technology. It's a perfect combination," John Keep, Vice President of Products, said.
Gerold brings experience developing a multi-level marketing application built to handle tens of millions of subscribers. He has also developed commercial Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and sophisticated reporting dashboards that recognize the importance of visually communicating analytics to users. Gerold grew his development expertise during his time with Thirty-One Gifts, Wendy’s International, and Nationwide Insurance.
Before joining Questline, Harning held roles within Duke Energy, Cintas, and Great American Insurance Company. His experience with the utility industry as whole, as well as specifically with handling large amounts of data working with smart grid systems, will be an asset to Questline clients and to the Engage platform.
Both Gerold and Harning will be responsible for the overall technical architecture of Questline’s SaaS platforms and infrastructure, while also providing architectural guidance to project teams. In addition, they will be developing new product features, sub-systems, and services to help achieve Questline’s vision.
In his role as Technical Account Manager, Severson will use his product management and Web development skills to manage all technical aspects of Questline client relationships. He will work closely with the account management and product teams to train new clients and support existing clients with Questline software products.
“We are excited to have a Technical Account Manager dedicated to our clients as a product expert,” Dave Reim, President of Questline, said. “With the growth in our technical platforms, we want to continue to provide the customer service and expert-level support our clients have always received.”
Questline continues to look for exceptional talent to help grow the Engage platform. Since its release six months ago, Engage has deployed more than 60 million emails to utility customers on behalf of Questline’s clients. Questline plans to debut additional Engage releases and functionality in 2014.
