Longtree Education, a health care training and continuing education company, will present a one-day dementia care seminar in Phoenix on Thursday, April 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar is for caregivers of individuals with dementia or those considering a career as a certified dementia care practitioner. The seminar will be held in the conference room of Country Inn & Suites at 4234 South 48th Street near the Phoenix Airport, conveniently located off I-10. Topics to be covered include: treatment options, behavioral management, emotional and psychiatric issues, intimacy, personal care, caregiver support, benefits of aromatherapy and more. It will be presented by Laurie Loughney, LNHA. CALA, CADDCT.
