FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 -- Alan Greenspan, who served as chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for more than 18 years, will headline the NAPE Decision Maker’s Breakfast in Houston at the Hilton Americas on Feb. 6. This ultimate power breakfast is part of the Feb. 4-7 NAPE Expo.
Mr. Greenspan will share his insight on the U.S. economy and the future of the oil and gas industry through a moderated Q&A session at the exclusive event.
“The business leaders who attend NAPE Expo work in the oil and gas industry’s most successful companies and their work drives the U.S. economy every day,” said Marty Schardt, executive vice president of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), which is the managing partner of NAPE Expo. “We know they will value Mr. Greenspan’s knowledge of the financial markets to prepare them to make sound business decisions in 2014 and beyond.”
NAPE Expo is presented by AAPL in partnership with the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). The event is the world’s largest expo for upstream oil and gas companies and is the premiere industry destination for E&P companies to showcase prospects, build partnerships and generate oil and gas deals.
The 2014 NAPE Expo is expected to draw close to 17,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors. Its annual economic impact to the city of Houston is estimated at $16.4 million. In addition to the exhibits, NAPE also hosts a Business Conference, Icebreaker networking event and the new NAPE International four-day expo with representatives from more than 35 countries.
