The Healthcare Heroes awards program honors individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of healthcare in New Jersey. Finalists were selected in ten categories: Education Hero-Individual, Education Hero-Organization, Healthcare Professional of the Year, Hospital of the Year, Innovation Hero, Nurse of the Year, Physician of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Women’s Health and Wellness Hero, and Workplace Wellness Hero.
Mr. Kaye was nominated in recognition of his critical roles in as Founding President of the Summit Medical Group Foundation and long-time board member of the Enright Melanoma Foundation. The Summit Medical Group Foundation’s mission is to enrich members of our communities through health promotion, medical research and medical education. Enright Melanoma Foundation’s mission is to foster increased awareness of melanoma in our community and to support students entering health care study programs.

Lynch, Advocacy and Management Group; Dean Paranicas, Healthcare Institute of New Jersey; and Wardell Sanders, New Jersey Association of Health Plans.
The Healthcare Heroes awards finalists will be recognized and the winner in each category will be announced during a breakfast awards ceremony on June 24, 2014 at the Palace in Somerset Park in Somerset, New Jersey.
