Ticket Monster Announces Pittsburgh Pirates 2014 Schedule and Tickets at PNC Park
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- For the first time in quite some time the Pittsburgh Pirates had a great year in 2013. The team has been known to start the season well but fade after the All Star break. The 2013 Pirates won 94 games and lost only 68. The most impressive thing about the 2013 Pirates season was the fact that the pitching staff only gave up 577 runs. This was one of the best pitching staffs in all of baseball.
Clint Hurdle and staff are looking to improve the Pittsburgh Pirates' record in 2014. The team has a beautiful ballpark and Pittsburgh fans love to see a great product on the field. The Pittsburgh Steelers are known to have some of the most passionate fans in all of the NFL. The same would be true of the Pirates if they can put together several winning seasons in a row.

1. Pittsburgh Pirates Tickets
Even though the Pittsburgh Pirates had one of the best teams in baseball in 2013 their attendance was in the bottom half of the league. The Pirates ranked 11th of 15 National League teams. If the Pirates can get off to a great start in 2014 one would expect more fans to make it out to PNC Park during the summer months. When looking for tickets to the Pittsburgh Pirates games in 2014 make sure to use Ticket Monster to get the best seats and the best prices.
With the attendance numbers still being lackluster at PNC Park most fans will be able to find affordable tickets. If you truly want some cheap tickets grab the standing room only seats or the seats in the upper deck in the outfield. You will likely pay less than $10 for those options.
2. PNC Park Attendance
One of the reasons the Pirates had some low attendance numbers in 2013 is the size of PNC Park. PNC Park has a capacity of 38,362 which is very low when compared to other MLB ballparks. It is important to note that PNC Park and PNC Arena are two completely different venues. In fact, they are in different cities. PNC Arena is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and this is where the Carolina Hurricanes and the NC State Wolfpack play. PNC Park is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it is where the Pittsburgh Pirates play their baseball games.
