The Electronic Security Association (ESA) will welcome hundreds of security professionals to Orlando, Fla. next week for the 2014 ESA Leadership Summit. The seventh annual event held exclusively for the electronic security industry will be hosted at the Rosen Centre Hotel from Jan. 19-22.

The 2014 ESA Leadership Summit was carefully crafted to help growing security businesses thrive in today’s market. The event schedule is comprised of value-driving keynote and educational sessions, vendor showcases, priceless networking opportunities and association meetings.

The Summit boasts an impressive roster of speakers from both in and outside of the electronic security industry to bring attendees a wealth of knowledge in one place. The lineup of keynote speakers include Mary Byers, co-author and association consultant; Ted Powell, business consultant and facilitator; Bjorn Jensen and Peter Shipp, leading experts from the custom electronics industry; Steve Bookbinder, CEO of Digital Media Training; and Doug Anson, retired major general of the U.S. Army Reserves. The keynote presentation topics range from cyber security to managing successful sales teams to national security post-9/11 and more.

In addition to the inspiring keynotes, a number of educational sessions —both free and paid—will be available to ESA Leadership Summit attendees with many of them eligible for ESA’s NTS continuing education units (CEUs) and more. Click here for a complete list of seminars.

The ESA Leadership Summit is also where crucial business connections are made. Attendees will have a chance to scope out the latest in security technology at the daily vendor showcases and network with one another during the evening special events. The Silver Reception, held on Jan. 20 and sponsored by ADI, Altronix and Security America Risk Retention Group, will kick off the week and give attendees a chance to re-connect with peers in a relaxing atmosphere. The Diamond Event, which is sponsored by Interlogix, is taking on a tropical theme and will be held at Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar on Jan. 21. The final day of the Summit will feature the Professional Group Roundtables that will satisfy those seeking to swap best practices with like-minded professionals and the Closing Reception by the Pool, sponsored by Security America Risk Retention Group, where attendees can wrap up the week with their new connections and support the fundraising efforts for ESA of Florida’s Youth Scholarship Program during the live/silent auction.

The 2014 ESA Leadership Summit has been designed to share business intelligence for growing companies and will focus on thriving, not just surviving. It will be headquartered at the Rosen Centre Hotel.
