ESA Leadership Summit Speaker to Provide a Contemporary Approach to Project Management
Irving, Texas (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- For industry professional Don Childers, COO of Central Security, training is in his blood and has been his main focus for the past eight years at Central Security. He is a long-time instructor with ESA’s National Training School (NTS), winning the 2010 ESA NTS Instructor of the Year award, and is also a two-time North Carolina Electronic Security Association (NCESA) President’s Award winner. At the upcoming 2014 ESA Leadership Summit, scheduled for January 19-22, 2014 in Orlando, Fla., Childers will bring his years of experience to a two-part session entitled, “A Contemporary Approach to Project Management,” where he will address methods to enhance the project management process to provide for the best outcome.
In the first session, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22, Childers will present an overview of how project management is defined and structured, along with a brief review of the following project management stages. Session two will follow and will look at some less-than-traditional approaches to project management, including a discussion of the pros and cons of traditional and contemporary project management models. Both sessions are designed to help participants determine the best model for their companies and equip them to employ best practices.
