Enterprises are recognizing big data as a combination of high-volume, high-velocity and high-variety information assets that can enhance insight and decision-making.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2014
Today, enterprises are recognizing big data as a combination of high-volume, high-velocity and high-variety information assets that can enhance insight and decision-making. To support this effort, WSO2 Vice President of Developer Evangelism Samisa Abeysinghe will present four technical webinars to help IT professionals strengthen their big data analysis best practices using WSO2 Business Activity Monitor (WSO2 BAM) and WSO2 Complex Event Processor (WSO2 CEP).
February 12: Big Data, Analytics and Real-Time Event Processing
Increasingly, enterprises are adopting monitoring techniques to handle massive volumes of data in real-time and derive valuable analytics information. This webinar will explore how IT professionals can generate analytics on big data using the complex event processing capabilities in WSO2 CEP for real-time monitoring of big data.
The one-hour webinar will be held Wednesday, February 12, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. To learn more, visit http://wso2.com/library/webinars/2014/02/big-brother-for-enterprises-big-data-analytics-and-real-time-event-processing.
February 19: Logs Analysis Use Cases
Logs generate massive volumes of data, which can help support enterprise decision-making. This session will examine how WSO2 BAM supports logs analysis by collecting and analyzing big data volumes, while WSO2 CEP helps generate machine intelligence as and when it happens. It also will cover several logs analysis use cases, including Hypertext Transfer Protocol Daemon (httpd) logs, Java Application logs, and infrastructure logs, among others.
The one-hour webinar will be held Wednesday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. For more information, visit http://wso2.com/library/webinars/2014/02/big-brother-for-enterprises-logs-analysis-use-cases.
February 26: Social Stream Analysis
Analysis of social media feeds and streams can help enterprises to tune and shape their business operations, but sometimes the insights are obscured by the volume of incoming data. This webinar will discuss several use cases around social media analysis using WSO2 BAM and WSO2 CEP, including how to find trends on Twitter tags, correlate them among interesting topics, and receive notifications.
