WSO2 CTO to Present Keynote on Open Standards for Identity Management at Identity Assurance 2014 Forum in London
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) June 10, 2014 -- Identity assurance is pivotal to achieving a government’s commitment to a “digital by default” society and ensuring online public service delivery. Several open standards for authentication and authorization are playing a central role in implementing robust identity management solutions to support this objective. WSO2 Co-founder and CTO Paul Fremantle will examine these standards in his keynote presentation at the Identity Assurance 2014 Forum. WSO2 is a Contributor at the event, which is being held June 11, 2014 on One Wimpole Street in London.
In his keynote presentation, “Open Standards for Identity: Understanding the Landscape,” Paul will look at identity management best practices and how open standards are evolving to handle the complexities of identity management and assurance. Key topics will include:
• Open protocols for single-sign on, including the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) and OpenId Connect
• Multi-factor authentication
• How to avoid passwords at all costs
• Claims-based access control
