Worldwide Preferred Hotel Program By CCRA Reports Significant Growth & Plans For Continued Global Expansion In 2014
Ft. Worth, Texas (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- CCRA Travel Solutions reports that over 33,000 hotel properties from across the globe are now enrolled in the Worldwide Preferred Hotel Program by CCRA. While the program continues to expand its global footprint in 2014, it currently features hotel partners ranging from boutique properties to renowned chains in 270 countries and 6,550 cities. As CCRA continues to establish more preferred partnerships with hotels, travel agents are provided with an even greater worldwide selection of properties that offer competitive rates, agent commissions and special deals for their clients.
The Worldwide Preferred Hotel Program by CCRA provides a platform to connect corporate, leisure and independent travel agents with a growing number of hotels that have agreed to offer preferred rates, with guaranteed commission and last room availability, virtually anywhere in the world. Through CCRA’s preferred hotel program, travel agents also benefit from additional hotel partner offers that may include (but are not limited to) higher commissions, exclusive hotel amenities, last minute sales, and special deals on distressed inventory only available through CCRA. Some of the most competitive hotel rates available in the marketplace are offered to agents through CCRA booking channels, including rates that are as much as 25% off the Best Available Rate a consumer may find online.
Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA said, “The continued success and international growth of our preferred hotel program is a direct result of the dedicated CCRA Hotel Partner Solutions team, as well as the growing number of travel agencies who are linking to our program. We take pride in aligning ourselves with hotels that are truly committed to the travel agent community and share in our mission of helping agents become more profitable, faster. By connecting travel professionals with like-minded suppliers, CCRA can help boost travel agent business by offering competitive rates, guaranteed commissions and exclusive deals at hotels in popular travel destinations worldwide.”
Added Tiffany Topcik, Vice President of CCRA Hotel Partner Solutions, “Our goal is to continue focusing our strategic development efforts by collaborating directly with our new and existing hotel partners, who help fuel our program's continued growth and success. We look forward to providing even more opportunities for our domestic and international hotel partners to connect with the valued travel agent community in 2014.”
Travel agents can access the CCRA’s preferred hotel rates through all major GDS or via the CCRAtravel.com hotel booking portal. To access CCRA rates in the GDS, agents must first be linked to CCRA. Agencies that wish to “get linked” can do so at: ccra.com/agents/getlinked.php. The preferred hotel program is also available to qualified independent and home-based agents who register to use the CCRAtravel.com hotel-booking portal, at the following site: ccratravel.com/app/register/register.aspx. There is no fee to participate in the CCR Preferred Hotel Program or to register for CCRAtravel.com.
CCRA also provides travel agents with an online directory to search for the more than 33,000 hotels worldwide enrolled in CCRA’s 2014 Hotel Program: hoteldirectory.ccra.com. This complimentary online resource allows travel professionals to search for a hotel by selecting a variety of filter options including destination city, specialty listings (such as all-inclusive, luxury, boutique hotels etc.), hotel chain, star ratings and exclusive amenities offered. Agents may then simply click on a hotel name or photo to access more detailed information, including the agent commission percentage, GDS booking codes, a local map of the hotel’s location and more.
