Gettysburg, Pa (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Graphcom Creative, a full-service marketing and creative firm in Gettysburg, Pa., has added two new members to its Creative staff in the areas of graphic design and web development.
Elia Filippone of York, Pa. has been named senior designer. He brings more than 10 years of professional experience in design, print, web and motion graphics to Graphcom Creative. A self-described “jack of all trades,” Filippone’s design career has covered projects ranging from studio art to package advertising. His work has included custom animations for the York Revolution baseball team, concept art and vector elements for Dutch Wonderland’s Sky Ride signage, murals for Hershey Park Place and a spooky hipster Almond Joy character for Hershey’s “Boo Crew.” Filippone has worked for a number of central Pennsylvania design and graphics firms including William Fox Munroe in Shillington, Pa. and Stoner Graphix in Hummelstown, Pa. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in media arts and animation from The Art Institute of Philadelphia and a Bachelor of Science degree in web design and interactive media from The Art Institute of York–Pennsylvania.
Evan Uebel of Taneytown, Md., has been named web developer. He brings skills in programming, Java and web development to his work with the Graphcom Creative team. In 2011, Uebel provided web development services for the startup forecasting company Foot’s Forecast, a web-based weather forecasting company. He received his associate’s degree in computer information systems from Carroll Community College in Westminster, Md. in December 2013.
“I am extremely pleased with the talent of the team we have assembled,” said Troy Dean, creative director. “As Graphcom Creative prepares to mark our fifth anniversary of the founding of this creative firm, I am excited about the contributions that Elia, Evan and all the members of this phenomenal team will make to assist in developing marketing campaigns for our clients as we go forward this year and into the years to come.”
