National Association of Professional Women Announces Donna M. Lowery, EHOC, Pharmaceutical Consultant at Celgene Corporation, as VIP Woman of the Year

Lowery, EHOC as a 2013/2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in pharmaceutical consulting with this prestigious distinction. Ms. Lowery, who has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, had a successful career in retail and product development. For 19 years she worked for such industry giants as Macy’s New York, Bloomingdales, May Merchandising Company and Associated Merchandising Corporation.
She than began her pharmaceutical sales career with Hoechst Marion Roussel. Eventually, Ms. Lowery joined Celgene Corporation, one of the county’s leading hematology and oncology companies, as a hematology oncology consultant. At Celgene, she moved up the ranks to her current position as executive hematology oncology consultant (EHOC). In this role, Ms. Lowery uses her seasoned expertise in selling, networking and relationship building to consult with customers and educate them on current therapies in hematology. Her key accounts include Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. “In this role I make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.”
A trained and diligent mentor, Ms. Lowery spends countless hours helping sales reps and cross-functional partners and young people in the nuances of the business and enhancing their role as vital part of an organization. “I love to mentor people and see them on to the right career paths within a company.
