National Association of Professional Women Announces Dr. Jelunder W. Clark, Medical Director at Wellness Medicine, VIP Woman of the Year

“It was a God-inspired decision to become a doctor,” said Dr. Clark when asked what or who inspired her to practice medicine. She recalls the time when a family member had to be hospitalized. Thankfully, her relative recovered fully, but the experience left an impression on her. “That’s when I decided I wanted to do that, to be able to help people get well,” recalls the doctor.
That was over 20 years ago. Today, Dr. Clark, a board-certified family physician who is certified in bio energetics medicine, is the medical director of Wellness Medicine, a thriving family practice she established ten years ago in Hampton, Georgia. “Our mission is ‘Paving the pathway of medicine to build bridges to optimal health and wellness,’” said Dr. Clark. “We help people to be well and restore their health. That is how the name of the practice evolved.”
At Wellness Medicine, Dr. Clark and her staff treat children and adults, offering traditional medical services as well as alternative medicine, using the latest technologies, products and treatment plans. A firm believer in preventative medicine, Dr. Clark empowers her patients through education, whether it’s at a seminar or workshop or during an office visit. Although recent changes in healthcare laws present some challenges in the field of medicine, Dr. Clark is optimistic. “I embrace challenges.
