National Association of Professional Women Announces Kathleen Reneau Lorenzi, Contract Manager / President, Reneau & Associates, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

A recent move to Austin has propelled Ms. Lorenzi into a new professional role, that of a consultant. Her firm, Reneau & Associates, specializes in consulting in all aspects of contract and business management in the high technology sector of industry and the federal government.
“I’m excited to launch my new consulting business where we’ll offer services for federal contracts and grants to small businesses and startups,” says Ms. Lorenzi. She brings more than 30 years of experience in contract and grant management in research and development and business management to her latest professional endeavor. Ms. Lorenzi has held key positions in a variety of industries including the semi-conductor field, aerospace and corporate management, and has taught at the university level. A certified Contract Manager, she has completed a number of graduate courses and training hours. Widely respected in her chosen field, Ms. Lorenzi is often invited to speak at industry events and has recently published articles on FAR Part 12 and Federal Property with partners Bo Bogdanski and Dr. Douglas Goetz.
Her knowledge and expertise of federal contracts and grants management at both the corporate and academic level is a unique combination that will ensure Ms. Lorenzi’s continued success as she embarks on this new chapter in her professional life.
