National Association of Professional Women Announces Selma F. Chapman-Hill, Senior Audit Review Analyst at Stonewood Insurance, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Chapman-Hill, senior audit review analyst at Stonewood Insurance, has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has held many positions from licensed insurance agent to specialist in the North Carolina Workers Compensation Bureau. “I am thankful for all my years of service in the insurance industry because it has given me various opportunities to grow in other areas,” says Ms. Chapman-Hill. She has also served as vice president of the local chapter of Professional Insurance Women and has competed in various speaking competitions. Ms. Chapman-Hill is an active and concerned member of her community. Presently she is a board member with Freedom Community Development, a 501-C3 nonprofit. For 15 years, Freedom Community Development has targeted low-income families providing tutoring and a Rites of Passage program that has grown into a learning center for preschool age children with vouchers, as well as private paying families.
Ms. Chapman-Hill continues to use her exceptional insurance industry background and knowledge to help provide low-income families and their children with the opportunities they deserve. She is drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations that support community development and various cancer societies and homeless shelters.
