Ashley N. Cox, a social worker and behavioral health professional, recently founded Vegas Valley Behavioral Health. Ms. Cox established the social service agency to “help individuals with disabilities become self-sufficient by assisting them with housing and medical care.”
As the chief executive officer and executive director of Vegas Valley Behavioral Health, Ms. Cox is instrumental in guiding the agency as it helps those in need in the Las Vegas area. From finding individuals safe, affordable housing to teaching them life skills to connecting them with the right resources, Ms. Cox and her staff of caring professionals will provide extensive counseling services to those in need.
In addition to both in-home and community-based counseling, Vegas Valley Behavioral Health also offers individuals who are on fixed incomes specialized services such as food boxes, hygiene kits, bus passes and transportation services. Through the establishment of the agency, Ms. Cox hopes to make a difference in the community by offering a helping hand to those individuals who need it most.
