Information security is critical to both SWBC and its clients, and providing employees with engaging, high quality information security training is a top priority. However, SWBC’s training department did not receive the support necessary from their previous LMS provider, resulting in end user and administrator frustration. Concerned that LMS adoption and training completions would decline, SWBC began the process of finding a solution that could meet the company’s needs.

LMS enhancements suggested by SWBC have been developed and deployed by eLogic to help automate SWBC’s information security training process. New SWBC employees must complete mandatory information security training within 30 days of hire. The eSSential LMS automatically recognizes new users and registers them for the course, while previously new users had to be manually registered. Automating this process has saved the SWBC training department valuable time and created greater assurance of compliance. Since implementing the mandatory training, SWBC has been able to prove its impact on reduced information security risk using reports in the eSSential LMS.
