Bowie, MD (PRWEB) April 06, 2015
Mrs. Stacey Miller of Bowie has been selected to represent Maryland in the National competition for the title of "Mrs. United States" by the Mrs. United States Pageant Headquarters in Fairport, New York.
Since 1986, the pageant annually pays tribute to married women throughout the United States and territories for their strength, beauty, intelligence, and resilience. The Mrs. United States Pageant acknowledges the fact that married women are an inspiration to families, friends, colleagues and communities.
In July 2015, Mrs. Stacey Miller will join other contestants from across the United States in the city of Las Vegas, where the pageant has been held for the past twenty-nine years. The five-day event culminates in two days of competition in which a panel of Judges will score the contestants on beauty, charm, personality, poise, and the ability to articulate. Contestants participate in personal interviews, as well as evening gown and swimsuit competitions.
The winner of the Mrs. United States Pageant will receive many prizes, including $3,000 cash and many opportunities as a role model and spokesperson for married women.
Currently, Stacey is Senior Social and Media Relations Manager at one of the largest media intelligence companies in the world. An eight-year veteran of the industry, she has led social media community management for global brands. A national keynote conference speaker, her writing has appeared across the web and she is frequently quoted in online publications and published books, including college textbooks. Consistently mentioned in "top people to follow” and “up and coming public relations professionals” lists, Oracle named Stacey a finalist for its Community Manager of the Year Award in 2012.
Stacey attended University of Maryland, majoring in Communication. She’s a supporter of the C.O.P.S. “I’m honored and humbled to be chosen to represent Maryland in the Mrs. United States pageant,” said Miller. “My hopes are to bring awareness to the beautiful, hardworking, and accomplished married women in our country while also supporting and raising money for the causes I’m most passionate about.”
The Mrs. United States Pageant has been rated the number one pageant for married women. “The most accomplished married women are attracted to the Mrs. United States Pageant, and we are very proud to produce a high-quality, prestigious pageant to honor their achievements,” said Isabella Illacqua, founder of the Mrs. United States Pageant.
