Essex food manufacturing entrepreneur unveils new business brand
Colchester, Essex (PRWEB UK) 18 November 2015 -- Stuart Allan founded Indulgence Patisserie Ltd from a small industrial unit on Mersea Island, Colchester in 1987, aged just twenty years old, turning it into one of the UK’s leading dessert manufacturers before its acquisition in 2013. In the ensuing years, Stuart has been forging a reputation as one of the South-East’s leading business coaches, with accreditations to the Growth Accelerator Programme and Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS).
The rebranded website, which also acts as a business resource, has followed the evolution of Stuart's Essex-based coaching business, as Stuart explains: “When I sold the business in 2013, I knew I wanted to use what I had learned to help other businesses. It’s easy to talk about success and numbers, and Indulgence Patisserie had both, but there were a huge amount of lessons learned along the way that I want to share.”
“The new brand represents my own journey as a business coach, and the new website allows me to share valuable business resources online. I want to help businesses to realise the amount of support available to them, particularly through the Growth Accelerator Programme and Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS). The funding is there for support and I’ve done some really transformational work with businesses who just needed a bit of direction to realise their potential for growth and profit.”
Alongside his coaching practice, Stuart has joined the board of Tastes of Anglia and is a mentor for senior personnel within the British Armed Forces.
“Coaching has become a very misinterpreted term, but in my own coaching practice I’m sharing real knowledge of how to break in to new markets, release profits and manage operations – they are things I did every day for 25 years at Indulgence. I’m extremely proud of the work I have been able to do, both with my clients and in my voluntary roles supporting our region’s food industry and working with members of the armed forces.”
