Allied is one of the few schools to offer this type of experiential learning
Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 30, 2014
Allied Medical School, an accredited online career training school serving working and career-seeking adults and military service members throughout the world, has launched an externship opportunity for its Medical Billing Program.
The externship consists of field experience and provides an opportunity for students to practice skills they have learned in a supervised work environment. Through the hands-on training program, students are provided with the tools and on-the-job experience needed to quickly enter the workforce.
“We recognize the value in allowing our students to receive hands-on training in a real world environment, “said Allied Schools President, George Achenbach. “Allied is one of the few schools to offer this type of experiential learning, which demonstrates our commitment to the long-term success of our students. We've had many success stories in the past, and we’re happy to now be able to provide our medical billing students with the same opportunities,” he adds.
Upon completion of program requirements, students who are enrolled in Allied’s Medical Billing Program will receive externship placement assistance at no additional cost. Externship training is also available in Allied’s medical assisting, medical coding and pharmacy technician programs.
